On resale, the Russian-buyer slowdown since 2022 has softened pricing on units historically marketed to that segment — meaning buyers today find better value than 2019-2021.
Privacy and security level vs La Zagaleta?
Sierra Blanca has gated entry and 24/7 security, but it's a step below Zagaleta — no helicopter pad, no private golf, lighter ID-checking at the gate. The privacy works because plots are large (typically 1,500-3,000 m²) and the road layout is winding, but you're not in a fortress. Many buyers explicitly prefer this — less paranoid, more residential.
School run to Marbella International College?
Sierra Blanca to MIC is 10-15 minutes door-to-door, no major traffic chokepoints. Swans International Marbella is closer still — roughly 5 minutes — and a popular choice for primary-age children. The Sierra Blanca-to-school commute is one of the gentler ones in Marbella; you avoid both the A-7 and the Aloha-junction backup.
